Josef Duchoň
(fl. 1880?-1910?)

Josef Duchoň was a mineral dealer in the town of Plzeň (=Pilsen, in German), Bohemia, on the Beraun River (a tributary of the Elbe), 52 miles west-southwest of Prague. The town, which had a population of about 10,000 in the late 1800's, was one of the most important commercial centers in Bohemia, and the sponsor of a large annual fair. Nothing is known about Josef Duchoň himself, but his labels have the look of the 1880-1910 period.
