Dr. K. J. Bayer

Moravian (=Mährisches) mineral dealer in Brno, Czechoslovakia. Before World War I, Brno was the capital of the Austrian Crownland of Moravia. (Not to be confused with the German metallurgist Karl J. Bayer, inventor of the Bayer process for refining bauxite into purified aluminum, after whom the mineral bayerite was named.)
