John A. Lenhard
(1940-    )

John A. Lenhard was born on September 28, 1940; he wrote an article with Samuel Ciurca in 1962 for Rocks & Minerals; it was entitled "Two rockhounds, a camper and a month." In that article, about a 1961 cross-country field trip, he states that he had been rockhounding for only two years (i.e. he began in 1959, when he was 19). In those days he lived in Rochester, New York, but he and his wife eventually moved to Hannibal, New York, where he still resides today, at 14 Pine View Lane.
