Arthur F. Pottle
(1898-1979)

Arthur Freeman Pottle was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts on April 21, 1898, the son of Helen M. and William F. Pottle, a postman. He received his DDS Degree and established himself as a dentist in Meredith, New Hampshire by 1920. He married Helen I. ____ in 1922 and they had at least three children. He was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as Grand Patron in 1944-1945. His son, Arthur Jr., became a career military officer and was decorated many times. Arthur, Sr. died in Live Oak, Suwannee County, Florida on June 10, 1979.
