Andrew G. Toussaint
Andrew G. Toussaint was born in New Milford, Connecticut on February 23, 1906, the son of Sarah and George A. Toussaint, a stenographer and salesman for a paint factory. The family appears on the Milford, Connecticut census (1910), the Newcastle, Delaware census (1920) and the Agawam, Massachusetts census (1930). In 1932 the Worcester City Directory listed Andrew as a student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
The Agawam, Massachusetts City Directory (1941) lists Andrew as an auto mechanic. The Springfield City Directory lists him as a "manager" (1961), and as a "salesman" (1963) for the Teco Company in Weymouth (1966). He and his wife Eleanor (a music teacher) later lived in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he met mineral dealer Ron Bentley. He died there on August 31, 1974. His mineral collection was sold by Ron Bentley.
