Sebastian Karrer
(1925-1999)

Mineral collector in Kirchbichl, Tyrol, Austria. Karrer was a “mineur” (tunnel borer or excavator) for a large construction company and so he had the opportunity – for example during the construction of power plants – to find minerals. One of his construction/collection areas was the Zillertal in Tyrol. After his death in 1999 his collection was sold.
