James B. Palmer
(1896-1977)

James B. Palmer of Reno, Nevada was born on March 16, 1896. He died in Reno in September 1977. James B. Palmer, a salesman, is listed with his wife Sara in the Reno City Directories for 1937-1950. He lived at 347 Ralston. He was listed as a member of the Mineralogical Society of America in 1960. The Washoe Gem & Mineral Society donated 33 slides of specimens from Palmer's collection to the MacKay School of Mines, University of Nevada, in 1964. In December 1964, Willard Perkin purchased a specimen from Palmer's collection.
