Campbell T. Hedge
(1852-1910's)

Campbell T. Hedge was born in New York in December of 1852, the son of Jane and George Hedge, a hardware merchant. On November 6, 1878 he married Mary Jane Crane in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and they settled in Orange, New Jersey where in 1887-1890 he was working as a leather dealer. Daughters Isabel and Edith had been born there in 1885 and 1887 respectively. By 1900 be had recome registered as a Public Accountant, still living on Maple Avenue in East Orange (the address on his mineral label); in 1910 he had moved to a house on William Street, and was working as an accountant for the County Education Department. He appears to have died before 1920.
