Ferdinand Stocklauser
(fl. 1920-1950?)

Ferdinand Stocklauser was an Austrian mineral collector/dealer in Pfarrwerfen, a small alpine village in the St. Johann im Pongau District, Salzburg, Austria. He was among the mineral-related contacts (for sales or purchases?) in the address book of Austrian mineral dealer Anton Berger (1870-1956). The price noted in the corner of one of his labels suggests that he was a mineral dealer. considering where he lived, he may have also been a Strahler (professional mountaineering mineral collector), though his two abels shown here are not for local specimens. The village name of Pfarrwerfen is crossed out on one label, suggesting that he may have moved to a different town at some point.
