Claude Boton ca.1987

Claude Boton was a mineral collector and full-time dealer in Brussells, Belgium. His first shop was located just 500 meters away from his subsequent and better-known known Chaussée de Charleroi location. He had a small personnel collection, specialized in uraniferous minerals from Shinkolobwe. His first labels are from the de Rue Defacqz address and are slightly different from the "Chaussée" labels. The characteristic feature of his old labels is that they are lined on the back, with five horizontal rows of small periods, perhaps to provide space for additional notes. The address side seems to have been printed with a rubber stamp because the ink density is not uniform. He died around 1987.
