Reuben Broadbent
(1862-1934)

Reuben Broadbent was a resident of Broken Hill, New South Wales, and specialized in the minerals of that deposit. His exhibit at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco consisted of silver, lead and zinc minerals from Broken Hill—apparently sold to George English following the exposition. He traveled periodically to the United States, giving talks on Australian minerals to mineral clubs and societies in New York and New Jersey.
