Steve Hardinger
(1959-    )

Dr. Steven Alan Hardinger of Los Angeles, is a chemist and senior lecturer in chemistry at UCLA. He first became interested in minerals as an Explorer scout in 1976, on a field trip to collect uranium minerals at Mauch Chunk, Pennsylvania. He received his PhD in organic chemistry from Purdue in 1988, and founded Dragon Minerals in 2003. He created www.the-vug.com in 2003, and sold it in November, 2005.
