Jules Rothschild
(1830's?-ca.1900?)

Jules Rothschild was editor in charge of a publishing house on the rue de Buci in Paris called the Libraire de la Société botanique de France from the late 1860's through the 1870's, and thereafter under his own house name until 1900. He supplied natural history specimens as well as books, and his label states that he was the agent for Mr. [M. J.] Landauer of Cassel and Frankfort (q.v.), specializing in shells, minerals and fossils. M. J. Landauer was located at number 8, Brönnerstrasse in Frankfurt am Main, according to his labels.
