Mowbray Twidale
(ca.1905-    )

Mowbray Twidale was a 1929 Mining Engineering graduate of Queen's College in Kingston, Ontario. He donated a substantial collection of worldwide mineral specimens to the Miller Museum of Geology there, a collection important enough to be given its own labels: "The Twidale Mineral Cabinet." The museum still has 46 Twidale specimens, but apparently a number of other Twidale specimens were destroyed or sold off following a fire in the museum storage facilities in the 1970's.
