(1817 - 1885)
(Born: Naumberg, Germany, 1 November 1817; Died: Bonn, Germany, 8 May 1885) German paleontologist & geologist.
Andrä began as a private docent, later becoming professor extraordinary in paleontology and geology at the University of Bonn, from which he received his Ph.D. There he also became the custodian of the mineral collection.
