Anleitung zum Studium der Mineralogie, für Anfänger ... Erste Heft. Wein, Camesinaischen Buchhandlung, 1804.

8°: [30], 3-349, [5] p., one folding plate, one large folding table.

Very scarce. No more published. This is the first published part of a proposed thorough introduction to the study of mineralogy. It is based largely on Werner's system of external characteristics, but also considers the chemical constituents and crystal structure of the minerals. Each mineral species is carefully described with comments on its hardness, appearance, list of synonyms, uses in industry, chemical make-up, and locations around the world where the species is found.
